Frequently Asked Questions

 

WHAT ARE YOUR DAYS OF OPERATION/AVAILABILITY?

  • Catering: Any day with at least 2 weeks advance notice (2 hour minimum). Events booked less than 2 weeks out are subject to a $200 late notice fee.

  • Community Events: Friday - Sunday only (preference given to morning community events scheduled between 9am - 12pm, May - October. Two weeks advance notice required; events booked less than 2 weeks in advance are subject to a $200 late notice fee.

 

WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU SERVICE?

  • Catering: The Blondie's Doughnuts trailer will set up on-site, slinging hot, fresh doughnuts for you and your guests at an approximate rate of 100 doughnuts per hour! Cinnamon rolls and ice cream are also available for service. Add-on beverage service is available at a ‘per head’ rate of $3. Includes travel (within 50 miles of zip code 21037), staffing, set up, and breakdown. Advance pre-payment is required to reserve the date.

  • Community Events: We secure a non-refundable $300 commitment fee, then schedule the trailer to sell to the public at your event/location. We will advertise and promote the event/location through our social media outlets. We set up and sling doughnuts rain or shine! If the trailer is booked on the selected date, we are able to set up a 10'x10' booth with a tent and tables.

 

IS THERE A MINIMUM TO BOOK THE DOUGHNUT TRAILER?  

  • Catering: $1000 minimum for 2 hour event (50% deposit due at time of booking, remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to event); $250 each additional hour

  • Community Events: $800 minimum total sales for weekday events; $1200 minimum total sales for weekend events ($300 non-refundable commitment fee due at time of booking) 

 

IS THERE A TRAVEL FEE?  

  • Destinations >50 miles from zip code 21037 are subject to a travel fee of $1/mile (roundtrip)

 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

  • If you decide to cancel your event (for any reason besides inclement weather):

    • > 30 or more days prior to the event date, the full deposit will be refunded

    • 15-29 days prior to event, ½ of the deposit will be refunded

    • < 14 days prior to event, NO refund will be provided 

 

  • Raincheck policy: If your event cannot be held due to inclement weather or acts of God, we will make every effort to reschedule the event for the first available date.

 

WHAT ABOUT PARKING?  

  • We require the equivalent of 3 parking spaces for the Blondie's Doughnuts trailer. Client must verify in advance that adequate space/parking for the Blondie's Doughnuts trailer is available at the event location. If we are unable to park at the event, all monies for the event will be retained by Blondie's Doughnuts. Please note: We CANNOT park on hills or steep inclines (without exception).

  • Necessary Trailer Clearance (approx.): Length: 24 feet; Height: 15 feet; Width: 10 feet
